The Langtang Valley walk is the ideal blend of natural beauty and cultural wealth. The New York Times named this walk as one of the 52 must-see sites in the world in 2017, and it will astound you with its breathtaking scenery.
The Langtang valley is located in central Nepal, about 19 miles north of Kathmandu and close to the Tibetan border. This walk is as wild as it gets, yet being near Kathmandu and more intimate than any other trek.
The Langtang Valley Trek is among the shortest journeys in the Langtang region, taking you to one of Nepal's most isolated places. In the north, the Langtang Valley shares a border with Tibet. As a result, the northern foil's lifestyle, culture, and customs have a strong influence on the region.
It is possible to do this walk just by staying in tea houses. However, this schedule includes some time spent under canvas. This route has various trek options. However, the one listed below is the most common. If you want to travel independently, you could arrange to meet your operator at Syabrubesi.
The Langtang valley trek begins from Kathmandu. Our representative will welcome you to the Tribhuvan International Airport. He will then transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu.
The next day we will be heading towards the Syaphhrubesi, which will take around 8 hours to reach. From Syabrubesi, follow the Langtang River east until you reach Kyangin Gompa (3,870/12697 ft); you will spend the night at Lama Hotel in Langtang Valley.
From kyangin Gompa,2 we will climb the Tsherko Ri (4984m/ 16351ft) and again return to Kanging Gompa, where we will stay overnight.
On the eighth day, we will more from Kyanjin Gompa towards the Lama Hotel, taking around 5-6 hours trekking (2,470m/8,104ft). And then return back to the Syaphrubesi after 5-6 hours of trekking (1500m/4,850ft). Finally, from Syaphrubesi, we will be returning back to Kathmandu. Therefore, all the above is about the entire path of our trip to Langtang valley.
Spring & Autumn is perfect for traveling in this region. Spring & Autumn is regarded as the best season to go trekking since you will enjoy the unimpeded beauty of the mountains. We do not recommend going on a trip during the rainy season or during the winter because the weather is not conducive to trekking.
