Volunteering tour is the one of the unique way to experience local village, their lives, travelling new place and destination. Now the people mind has been changed they what to spend their money to explore different place and also involved in social work. This is the best way for exchange of culture and lifestyle and it makes huge benefit for both. These kinds of activities are the backbone and success of under developed & developing countries.

Development of children is the true development of the country. By focusing on the child education and social awareness Walk Mountain has organized 13 Days volunteering program in three different village school of Kathmandu and Chitwan. School is the perfect place for two way communication and exchange of different culture from different community. 13 Days volunteering trip start with UNESCO heritage sightseeing with tour guide who helps you to explain about the history & culture of Nepal. Then we drive to different school of Kathmandu & Chitwan villages. We teach English language, social awareness education, painting & School maintenance program and involve in different physical and mental games and sport and also learn about the local people tradition culture, their everyday lifestyle, participate in their work. After complete the volunteering program we do Chitwan jungle activities.

Day 01: Arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu half day sightseeing, preparation for volunteering program.

Day 03: volunteering activities Kathmandu School (1).

Day 04: Drive to Chitwan, preparation for volunteer.

Day 05: Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (2).

Day 06: Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (2).

Day 07: Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (3).

Day 08: Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (3).

Day 09: Drive to Sauraha, Chitwan Jungle Activities.

Day 10: Jungle Safari Activities.

Day 11: Jungle activities and Tharu Home Stay.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu.

Day 1 : Arrival, transfer to hotel.

Our representative welcomes you and assists you to transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu, After freshen up; we will provide necessary information about this trip.

Day 2 : Kathmandu half day sightseeing, preparation for volunteering program.

After breakfast you have a half day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley which include; Historical Pasupatinath temple, Bouddhanath stupa and Patan Durbar Square with our professional tour guide. After the heritage tour we do preparation for Volunteering program at afternoon. We do some shopping for School (i.e. Painting color, necessary stationary for children, Sport equipment, and maintenance equipment like cement, sand etc. where the guide will help you.

Day 3 : volunteering activities Kathmandu School (1).

We drive to a school which is about two hours drive from Kathmandu after breakfast at hotel. We will get warm welcome by staff of the school by flowers. After short introduction with school teacher we visit the classes of student. We provide the child education to all the student of the classes and help them in learning English, Math, and Science. We also help them in painting which also have an education. We fully enjoy and spend our time with school student then, we drive back to Hotel at Thamel.

Day 4 : Drive to Chitwan, preparation for volunteer.

We drive to Chitwan which is about 6 hours from Kathmandu after having breakfast at hotel. Afternoon, we reach our destination then, we prepare a tented camp for our accommodation. Then we do some necessary equipment shopping for school and preparation for volunteering program.

Day 5 : Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (2).

We drive to the second school which is located at the rural area of Chitwan. We will be welcomed by school staff member with flowers and khada. We have an introduction with the school members then we visit the classes of the school. Today fully focus on provide some education and motivation education to the children. We help them in learning English, Math, Science etc. we provide information about the benefit of personal hygiene and why it is necessary and important of education in our lives and social behavior of humen. After education and motivation program we have our lunch break. Then we began drawing and painting program. We distribute paintings and paper to the students and help them. We draw different painting and sketch related with education. Then we provide teaching training and uses of new technology for teaching with teacher and provide some tips related to study.

Day 6 : Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (2).

Today the program is little different and excited. We will involved in different physical games like football, cricket, volleyballs etc and mind games like cheese etc. with the students and teacher. After break with lunch we have maintenance and repair program at school. We all volunteer member teacher and student as a team and rebuild and maintain the school like water tab, class room etc. then we have cultural dance program at School.

Day 7 : Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (3).

Today we visit another school in Chitwan in next location. We do same education and motivation program to the students of the school and training to the school teachers.

Day 8 : Volunteering activities at Chitwan School (3).

This day is like same activities of Day 07. Participating in rebuild of school and sport activities.

Day 9 : Drive to Sauraha, Chitwan Jungle Activities.

We drive to Sauraha by a private vehicle in morning after breakfast. We check in at resort and have some time for rest. Then we have a buffet lunch at the resort. After completing our lunch we walk to tharu village cultural tour to see the ethnic people and learn their culture. In the evening we walk to the bank of Rapti River for the sunset.

Day 10 : Jungle Safari Activities.

We walk to dug – out – canoeing alone with Rapti River after breakfast and see rare bird and animals; rare species of cocordile, the marsh mugger and gharial. After cannoning in the river then we continue with jungle walk, where we get opportunity to see the green forest, flora and fauna. We walk back to our lunch at hotel then have an Elephant back safari. This is our excellent opportunity to encounter deer, one horn rhino, leopard, monkey, Bengal tiger and some of the rare wild animals in the world. In evening just after our diner we have a tharu cultural dance, enjoy the stick dance and participate on it.

Day 11 : Jungle activities and Tharu Home Stay.

After breakfast at resort we walk for bird watching with a guide, where we again have to through the forest. We get big opportunity to see varieties of endanger birds which number is more than 450 species. Visit tharu community and get warmly welcomed by the Tharu, take a look the local kitchen and pick the vegetables that you later see on your plate. You sleep in one simple jungle tower, but discover the tropical lowlands at the crack of the day. We saw a rhinoceros walk into the woods in the morning and heard at night all kinds of animal sounds.

Day 12 : Drive back to Kathmandu.

We drive back to Kathmandu following the same highway in a private vehicle.

Day 13 : Departure from Kathmandu.

Last day in Nepal our office staff will drop you at airport before 2 hours of your actual flight, with some good memory about us and unforgettable memory about trip.

Useful Information

What kinds of accommodation we get during this trip?

We provide 3-Star Hotel “Hotel Bliss International or similar category hotel” in Kathmandu which is in the peaceful street on the edge of Thamel. Whereas “Hotel Parkland or similar category hotel” in Chitwan during jungle activities. While volunteering we stay overnight at Tent camp or in Local houses “Home Stay”. single supplementary charge ($220) extra.

What sort of meals we get during this trip?

We provide Buffet Breakfast in Kathmandu where all meals during Chitwan and volunteering which include (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner per day)
