    Everest base camp is the one of the adventurous trek rout on earth with its altitude of 5364 meter or 17,594 feet on course of crowning Mt. Everest (world’s highest peak). It was when the George Mallory and Andrew "Sandy" Irvine who first attempted to conquer the Mt. Everest disappeared in 1924.However it was on In 1953 Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa first conquered Mt. Everest (8848 m). Nowadays many people from around the globe have successfully conquered the crowning Mt. Everest. The trek starts with the fight from Kathmandu to the Lukla Airport also known as Tenzing Norgay Airport and follows the Dudh Kosi valley and climbs up to the gate-way of Everest Namche Bazar (3440m) a Sherpa territory. Namche Bazzar is the main centre of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday which takes two days to reach here. This is the very good place for acclimatization. We then trek another two days to Dingboche, 4,260 metres (13,980 ft) before resting for another day for further acclimatization. Another days we takes us to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep, the flat field below Kala Patthar, 5,545 metres (18,192 ft) and Mt. Pumori.  Alternatively, the comeback route can be arranged through the Chola Pass, Gokyo, Renjo Pass, and Thame trail offers the pleasure adventurous psyche with more marvelous view of lofty High Himalayans exploring the Nepalese culture and tradition of Khumbu Region.

  • Detail Itinerary
    • Day 1 Arrival, transfer to Hotel
      Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative welcomes you and assists you to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu, after freshen up; you will be provided the necessary information regarding the trip in Nepal along with our fellow trekking staff for your adventurous trip. Overnight at Hotel.
    • Day 2 Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
      We will collect you on the morning for guided trip of cultural word heritage sites in Kathmandu valley which is rich for its Newa culture and temples; including several places of pilgrimages sites for Hindus and Buddhists , the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the world biggest Stuppa; Boudhhanath, Swoyambhunath Stupa (monkey temple) and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with unique architectural temple, and incredible Kumari widely known as Living Goddess in Basantapur of central kathmandu. There will be meeting with other members along with our fellow trekking staff at our office for a pre-trip discussion in the evening.
    • Day 3 Kathmandu - Lukla [2,800 m/9,184 ft]- Phakding (2,652 m/8,700 ft): 3-4 hrs
      A super scenic flight of nearly 40 minutes will finally bring you to Lukla where we start our trek to Phakding for overnight stop. You can stroll around Lukla while your guide and porter arrange the necessary equipments and materials for trekking.
    • Day 4 Phakding -Namche Bazaar [3,440 m/11,283 ft]: -5-6 hrs
      Today we hike from Phakding by following the trail that continues up to the bank of the Dudh Koshi River crossing the suspension bridge of Monjo which is the entrance gate for Sagarmatha National Park. A few hours walk through Jorsalle village and crossing Hilary suspension bridge will finally bring you to Namche Bazaar for overnight stop.
    • Day 5 Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day
      This is first scheduled 'acclimatization' day for this trek to adopt high altitude before heading up to high elevation. In the morning, we will walk up to Khumjung and glance-by the school as well as visit the Everest View Hotel. Namche is a prosperous trading town and the capital of the Khumbu Region with many Nepalese officials, a police check, post and a bank. Over night at Namche Bazaar.
    • Day 6 Namche Bazaar to Tsengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 5 - 6 hrs
      The trail leads uphill through the forested path and the hardly walk to get to Tyangboche. It’s very popular region in Nepal and there is a traditional Buddhist Monastery where lots of visitors come for traditional yoga and meditations which offers fantastic views of the lofty Himalayan Peaks. Overnight stay at Tsengboche.
    • Day 7 Tsengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft):5- 6 hrs
      The trail first descends through conifer and rhododendron forest to the beautiful settlement Deboche where you have a close view at Ama Dablam after crossing the bridge over the raging Imja Khol River. Dingboche is gateway to Island Peak climbers. Overnight at Dingboche.
    • Day 8 Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300ft): Acclimatization Day
      We allow you full day to explore the vicinity of Dingboche. Dingboche is a village in the Khumbu region of north eastern Nepal in the Chukhung Valley and it is situated at an altitude of about 4,360 metres (14,300 ft). The village consist of several hotels and lodges for tourists. Overnight at Dingboche.
    • Day 9 Dingboche - Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft): 2-4 hrs
      We follow the trail that continue ascent, climbing up to the terminal debris of Khumbu Glacier, continuing along the rugged route to your resort at Lobouche. Above the huts looms the famous Lhotse Ridge.
    • Day 10 Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5,170 m/16,961ft) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,594ft) - Gorak Shep: 8-9 hrs
      It’s quite difficult and long trek today. We first walk along adventurous trail that continues towards Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall. The trail passes through over rocky dunes and moraine and streams, till you reach the base camp at an elevation of 5365 meters. We explore the vicinity of base camp with the impressive look of the crowning Mt. Everest (8848m), the world highest peak of the world. And last we return to Gorak Shep for overnight stay.
    • Day 11 Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192ft) - Louboche (4910 m/16,109 ft): 8-9 hrs
      We continue hike to Kala Patthar at the elevation of 5555 meters. The trail first climb up and is quite challenging but the supreme scenery of lofty mountains brings completely new experience on you. From Kala Pattar the entire Everest south face is visible as well as Lho La (the pass between Nepal and Tibet), Changtse (the northern peak of Everest) and most of the West-Ridge route. We return to Gorak Shep and continue to descent to Louboche where we stop for the night.
    • Day 12 Loubuche Thokla La (4830m/15,846 ft) - Pheriche (4,730m/15,518ft): 6-7 hrs
      We start our trek from Lobuche. We will carry plenty of water and some snacks and packed lunch as there is no teashops on the way. We really enjoy the remoteness of the area and absolute nature. On the way we will enjoy the beautiful views of Pokalde (5806m), Nangkar Tshang (5616m), Thokla Pass and so on. Finally, we will reach at Pheriche for overnight stay.
    • Day 13 Trek to Tyangboche (3,867m/12684ft), 4-5 hrs walk
      There is a famous monastery at Pangboche believed to have been the oldest in the Khumbu region. The trail descend down the alpine desert and back into greenery of pine forests. The path leads to a steep uphill climb into Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery. Overnight at Tyangboche.
    • Day 14 Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3,570m/11,710ft): 5-6 hrs
      The trail ascends a short steep to the top of a small ridge for great views of Imja Valley, Ama Dablam and Kantega, before taking a break at Orsho. The trail further descends steeply to the suspension bridge at Phunkitenga and after a lunch break we cross the Dudh Kosi and ascend to Tashinga. From here the trail contours high above the valley through Shanasa before arriving at Kyangjuma. A few hours walk will finally brings you to Namche Bazaar where we stop for the night.
    • Day 15 Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 6-8 hrs
      We follow the trail which descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. We then cross the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi River and walking through the Sherpa villages' noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag while we walk through the villages. On arrival in Lukla, we stretch those sore legs and recall the experiences of the last couple of weeks and we celebrate on the happy occasion of successful trip. Overnight at Lukla.
    • Day 16 Fly back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
      Today we return to Kathmandu via short super scenic fight of nearly 40 minutes after having breakfast. You can have plenty of time to relax in Kathmandu.
    • Day 17 Departure from Kathmandu
      Your Everest three passes trek has come to an end today. Today is free or last minute to enjoy in Nepal. If you have days left and ready for next trip then let us know. If not our representative will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination, taking with us the memories of wonderful moments spend with us.

  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain(due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary

    Namaste All, I had super amiazing holidays in everest basecamp trek with walk mountain, thanks to team Bishnu and his team. Guide Binod was very funny yet very professional in his job. he took care of our food , accomodation and everything and made sure that we were comfortable. i had little headache in lobuche before going to Everest base camp, so we took extra day there and walkmountain were very flexible with time and they made sure that safety and success of trip is very important. i hugely recommend walkmlountain to plan your next trip.
