Mt.Kailash(6614m) mean Crystal is located at the Tibet which is the holy place of Hindu, Buddhist, Jains and Bon. In Hindu it is believed that this is the home of lord Shiva where he perpetual meditation along with his wife parvati. For the jains it is where their first leader was enlightened, for the Buddhist the navel of the universe where as for the bon it is the sky goddess Sipaimen. Hindu belief that it is Lord Shiva who makes the mountain unclimbed for human. Four of the greatest river Indu, Sutlej, Brahmaputra, and Karnali known as Ghaghara are origin from here which is also some of Asian longest river. North face of Kailash is belief to be gold, western as ruby, southern as sapphire and eastern as crystal.
Mt. Kailash yatra overland tour & trekking is the pilgrimage trip which has religious and natural important. Thousand of pilgrimage visits this holy place every year. They belief they should worship Kailash manasarovar once in a life time for the spiritual purification. Manasarover is the holy lake nearby Mt.Kailash. “Manas” mean “Mind” where “Sarovar” means “Lake of Consciousness and elightment”.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing
Day 03: Kathmandu to Kerung; 7-8 hrs drive
Day 04: Acclimatization day at Kerung
Day 05: drive Kerung to Saga; 5-6 hrs drive
Day 06: Saga to Manasarovar; 7-8 hrs drive
Day 07: Drive to Darchen; 2-3 hrs drive
Day 08: Trek to Dira-Puk (first day of Outer Kora); 6-7 hrs walk
Day 09: Trek to Zuthul – Puk via Drolma – La pass (second day of Outer Kore; 6-7 hrs walk
Day 10: Trek to Darchen, Drive to Saga;
Day 11: Drive to Kerung from Saga
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu.
